Integrating Suppliers with PeopleSoft eProcurement using  Direct Connect Supplier Integration – Kevin McRae, Cedar Consulting

The Direct Connect feature allows a business to immediately connect to a supplier website by clicking the supplier's link, which appears on the Search Catalog page. The product or service items that you choose are brought into an eProcurement requisition, which is processed through PeopleSoft Workflow. The requisition is eventually converted to a purchase order, which is routed to the supplier's website. This integration enables you to access multiple vendor catalogs in real-time, without any catalog maintenance on your part
